A representative called me from this company and offered me a credit card with a $2000 limit with 0% interest for 3 years for $249. I thought it was too good to be true but then I thought that's probably why they're charging the $249, because of the 0%.
I went ahead and gave my information. After the transacation was made, she had told me that it would be in the mail in 25 business days. I went on a trip for 1 month and the card still hasn't arrived. I called the number that was charged on my card and they had told me that it was in the mail. When I finally got the packet it was just a bunch of junky papers. It said that I would still need to pay $50 for a debit credit card. I called their 800 number again and a representative gave me a name and an address to send the packet back to and receive a refund. I sent a letter but it never happended. Luckily it was within 90 days, so I called my financial institution and told them that I was a victim of fraud and they refunded me my money. Never again will I be so stupid to fall for a scam like that.
