Purchased Chair in November 2016 and purchased the protection plan for $99.00

The chair is sagging and it appears a spring has broken.  I called to report it. 

 

To my surpirse, The first thing I was told by Rhonda, that she would see if they wouild accept the claim.  

 

She said she is going to record the conversation and the information from me could not be changed, 

Another surprising comment.  She ask when I noticed the problem.  I explained I noticed it around

Christmas.  She said it has to be reported within 30 days.  I explained that I have been in Florida

for the last 3 months, leaving on December 27 and returning last week. 

 

During Christmas season I did go to Ashley Furniture where I purchased the chair.  They advised it was 

covered but did not advise me to do it before I left town again.  

 

I have searched for the terms and conditions of the service agreement and cannot find it anywhere. 

The brochure they gave me does not the mention a 30 days limitation. I understand it is "on file"

at the furniture store.  

 

I ask Rhonda at Guardian who else I can speak with she gave me an email address

"DRT@guardianproducts.net" She gave me a Service Request number which is invalid (5991014).

  

 Any assistance would be appreciated.
