Complaint Review: Guardian Windows And Siding

Contractor is a siding contractor. We agreed to a siding job from the contractor, picked the siding, and payed 50% of the job up front. Contractor we to show up for a job on the seconf week of september. Never showed, then the end of September, contractor never showed.

Now in preperation for the contractor to show up I had installed 3 new windows, and had to remove siding from around the windows to expose the work area. So there is no siding protecting those areas of the house.

October, still the run around we will be there next week, or in 2 days. But nothing. The the rain blame game started. Cant work to finis the job we are workin on in the rain. (understandable)The last week of october we the new target date. STILL AN NO SHOW. Pushed another week. First week of Nov asked for money back and threatened legal action. Contractor stated the would drop off materials on the following tuesday, and start on Thursday. NO siding Drop off and NO workers on Thurdsay.

Contractor has been placed with BBB and now going to file both a police report and a report with the local justice.
