Complaint Review: GUARDSMAN

GUARDSMAN GUARDSMAN IS A RIPOFF i bought my sofas at ASHLEYS in palmdale california ....i called the customer service and they sent me a letter denying any service then called again the said to fill out the form i did and they sent me another letter denying it again so i know now the they're just taking your moony someone needs to do something about it and soon before they do this to more people grand rapids Michigan

guardsman is a big ripoff. first of all my wife call them and explained it to them how it happened and they sent us a letter denying any service. then i called them and they said to fill out the form  i did and i talked to a representative and explained how my soffas got damaged but they still denyed it. so now i know that they are a big ripoff company. i will try to get a lawyer this can't be happening anymore... someone has to do somethin

 A warrenty normally spells out what is covered by said warrenty. This means that although you have a warrenty, your specific issue may not be covered. As the person who wishes to redeem a warrenty, it is on you to know WHAT your warrenty covers. NO warrenty is 100% coverage. There will always be situations that a warrenty doesnt cover. The big one is ACCIDENTAL DAMAGE!!! Unless you have to pay a deductable, most warrenties only cover normal wear and tear. If you have a situation that is not covered by your warrenty, then they can not help you. It is on you the consumer to know EXACTLY what your warrenty can do for you.

You can go ahead and retain a lawyer, but you will be wasting your money. See your warrenty was drawn up BY lawyers. This way its spelled out for you. If your warrenty doesnt cover your situation then theres not much you can do except PAY FOR IT YOURSELF. But given the tone and body of your post you strike me as the usual consumer. Whine and complain because you made assumptions and you just want to try and embarrass them by posting online so YOU dont have to eat the costs of YOUR problem.
