I bought a sofa from Overstock.com and I decided to purchase a warranty from Guardsman since it seemed to be extensive. Three years later, I noticed that an area on my sofa has worn springs. So, I filed a claim, which was an extremely lengthy process. They don't take phone claims but I was told I could file a claim online. However, even with that, I had to mail in a form with my signature. About 2 weeks after I mailed the form, I received an email stating that my claim was being review and about 2 weeks after that I received a denial of my claim with inaccurate information. I submitted a claim indicating that the springs were bad on the left side of the sofa and the desciption in the denial email was on the right. Additionally, they denied the claim because they said flattened cushions are not covered. However, no one ever came out to inspect my sofa. This denial was based on a pictures that I was require to submit. Don't purchase from this company, because they are truly a rip-off!
