Our son decided it was a good idea to put some sunscreen on our table and then put a cup on it along with putting some key scratches on it.  We put in a claim for this and they said it was covered and would send a technician out to repair it.  Technician came out to repair it and said he could not fix the ring because it was to deep and had gone into the wood.  He said they should either buy us a new table or a new tabletop.  He told us that he would submit something to the company and they should get back to us.

Then next day we got an email denying the claim saying it was not covered under the agreement.    We called the company and they said it was not covered because of an accumulation of damages.  They said there was hotmarks on the table (you can only see these from a certain way).  We said yes that is from normal wear and tear and we do not want those fixed, we just want the damage from the specific incidents fixed.  They said they do not pick and choose damages.  What?  In the agreement it states: "Any stain of unknown origin or accumulation of stains, damage or a soil buildup (as well as, persperation, hair, and body oil) that occurs from the reated use rather than from a particular incident."

I agree with this and have no problem with this, however, we have a specific ring mark that should be covered but they are refusing to cover it.  No where does it say that everyday wear and tear will void out any sppecific incidents in the future.  We have 4 kids, it is unrealistic to have to call them every day for every mark we have on that table.
