I called them because my heat was not coming on, I looked in the phone book and called Gugino because it's widely known, I have an oil furnace and this is my first year owing a house in the country and they didn't ask me what kind of furnace I had, well he said that the guy that does oil furnace is on vacation so I asked him if he knew anybody that can help me with this and he said he is going to try to fix it, he took it apart and took it back to the shop, he put a new nozzle which is about $7 and he said that the part that ignite the pilot is broke and he have to order the parts to it but it's fix temporarily, this was 2/19 the part is about $15 I got charged $300 plus tax, well the furnace went out on 2/21 when I came home from work I noticed it's a little cold, I have 2 children that was on spring break 7yrs old and 8yrs old and they were home, one just got over a cold and my youngest have asthma. Well I called Gugino's to see if anybody can help me light the pilot and get it going for the night and the guy told me that he talked to the owner and there's nothing they could do for me until the parts comes in, if I can find someone that can come out and service it. The house was freezing, it was snowing and we were all bundled up, on 2/22 I had to hire another company to fix it, they said that everything was pluged up, it doesn't look like Gugino did anything but put a new nozzle in, and the other company cleaned it and fixed it, I called Gugino up to ask them for a full report on what the service guy did for my furnace, the person that answered the phone said that they could not give me a report and she said that temporarily means it there was no garantee that the furnace will stay on, it could go out anytime, so I paid $300 for a part to come in and as far as I know the guy took my furnace apart and had to take it back to the company so I have no idea what they did, I was going to have them give me a step by step report so I can see what they did and the girl told me that they do not have a step by step. My children is very important to me and I couldn't do nothing about it and had to hire another company, it was really quick for Gugino to cash my check as well it cleared at my bank on 2/22. I need advice on what to do about this situation, it's unacceptable.
