In May of 2005 I ordered Dean EVO NOIR for my daughter from GuitarPlaza via the internet. On June 24, 2005 the company removed funds in the amount $475.94 from my bank account. My daughter called to check when the order would be shipped and the girl that answered the phone, Amber, informed my daughter due to the fact that Trent Reznor from NIN ordered a large amount of the same guitar that ours was on back order but it should be received within 30 days.

The 30 days went by and no guitar. So I called the store again and was told my order was on a boat from China?? The order was supposed to be shipped (again) within 30 days. 30 days past and still no guitar.

I called the store again and told them I wanted my money refunded. I was told by Amber that the manager/owner would have to call me back. I called the store numerous times and never once received a phone call back. I emailed the store several times and never received a reply.

My 14 year old daughter worked for months to get the money for that guitar and it is unfair to her to be ripped off. I called my bank and they told me since so much time had gone by that they could not put the money back into my account but, also informed me that what GuitarPlaza did was commit fraud by taking the money and not delivering the product. GuitarPlaza committed fraud against an innocent 14 year old girl.

We did not think that ordering from them would be a problem since my daughter had taken guitar lessons at the store and we had also bought 3 other guitars from GuitarPlaza that they had in stock in their store. We thought we were doing business with a reputable business with a reputable owner.

Do not do business with this company... We are looking into filing a lawsuit to receive the funds back form the company and have even considered picketing outside their store.

THIS CUSTOMER RECEIVED HER REFUND LONG AGO.

She special ordered a guitar in May 2005. Dean did not have it in stock and recommended we place our order with them to assure we would get one on the next shipment. In June 2005 the customer agreed to allow us to charge her credit card and special order the guitar.

We did receive numerous calls from the daughter and the mother about this guitar, they were desperate to get it, we advised them each time of the status for their order. The customer finally got tired of waiting for Dean to supply us with this guitar and cancelled the special order with us and we refunded their deposit.

There was quite a bit of confusion between this customer and our store, the mom and daughter could not decide what to do, they wanted the guitar very much.

We regret that we were not able to supply this customer with a very rare guitar.
