Complaint Review: Gulf Coast Trucking DBA Jesus Moreno

I quit my job job as a Broker's agent to go into business with Jesus Moreno Gulf Coast Trucking. I am not putting this on here to cry about what happened. It is my fault for not checking him out better. This is on here to keep him from hurting other people.

Now, I quit my job with the promise of a 50/50 contract where I bring the customers, and he puts the money, and that he has the money to pay me weekly till we get going. Well it was like pulling teeth to get my money out of him, even once the checks came in. Once I got the contract it was 60/40, and I was the 40 and the silent partner. He also had in there that if anything happened to me, my Wife and son(7yrs) would be paid what is owed on loads that I hadn't been paid on, and then that's it. He now gets 100% of the company and all the customers I brought in are now his.

I would say from November to January we did about 200 loads, and made some good money, but he was never happy. This guy would lie about anything. He lived out in Katy, TX, and had a House way over his head, and 3 car note at about 850 each for 2 cars, and 1000 bucks for the Truck. He would never show up at the office to help, and that was part of the deal, but yet he wanted more money. He lied when we agreed on starting this, and he spent around 7 grand to get started, and then he was broke, and i mean he really had no money. He was trying to sell off his truck. He had a broken down fax, and I had to pay for my own cell phone that was the main number he got thru sprint, because he didn't have money for an office line. It was lie after lie with this guy. I should have known that if he had any money he would have had a pretty wife, not an ugly one. His wife is the same kind of loser, she would take my money out for the phone bill twice out of the same check for 1 month, and I had a water cooler put up there for the company, and they overcharged me, and she still paid it out of my check, and it was in my name it had nothing to do with her. She is a bigger thief than Jesus her name is Natalia.

I would have to wait sometimes 4 weeks for a check, and had to almost fight to get it. Well, I found out in February after I left him, and started my own Trucking company the right way, that he had not paid one single load. I started getting all kinds of emails. He ran off with a lot of money. Every load we did was from 1k to 5k per load and he didn't give the carriers anything, he keep it all. My wife looked him up, and he has a lot of DBA's. Gulf Coast was first a sand and concrete hauler, and he still does this. He hires wetbacks to haul the dirt and then don't pay them. Right now he is trying to open a Gym with the money he didn't pay the carriers with.

He called my wife's phone, because I left him a message that I found out what he did, and all the carriers were calling me, and I gave them his number, and home address, and he called back and left a message to really hurt me among other things. So then this dumb-a*s goes to file charges on me for harassment, but they call me before they go to the DA with it, and found out the truth because I had all the emails I sent him and nothing was a threat except the email he sent me. He is of coarse Mexican about 5'6" and stocky but chubby has a big a*s nose, Black hair and brown eyes. Goes to the gym all the time. His eyes water a lot and he always blinks. He has a bad temper and throw fits really easy if he gets upset. Has a huge little mans complex. His wife is about 5'8" tall, she is taller than him. Skinny about 150 but with a stomach from popping out the kids, big nose also, long face with brown hair and black eyes. I have pics I have to find them and post them later. I could go on forever about the lies and other stuff he did but I will keep it at this. Just avoid him or you will get burned, like me. I had a big sucker sign on my forehead, when I met this guy, and i usually don't fall for scams, but he was a good crook.
