On January 13 2009 and on February 5 3009, I placed orders for vegetable plants, flower plants and seed. According to the shipping schedule for the pepper plants, they were to be shipped 3/16/2009.

After waiting 10 days after the expected plants to arrive and no email informing me they had been shipped, I called Gurneys to find out why they had not been shipped yet as my entire vegetable garden was planted except for the pepper plants. I was informed that the plants were due to be shipped anywhere from late April to the middle of May, much too late for planting in Zone 8.

I canceled the order on the pepper plants and was informed that a *credit would be issued after everything I ordered all year was sent...when I asked when the lilies and other flower bulbs I ordered would be shipped, they told me this fall after I had been informed they would ship this spring! Also, any future orders I place would hold up my refund *credit as it could only be issued if there were no orders pending!

Alas, I have close to $50.00 of my money being held hostage until this fall between the pepper plants and flower bulbs and I will probably be issued a *credit for merchandise for the 2010 season, which God only knows IF they would be able to ship then! Did I also mention that I still have to pay for the shipping of the cancelled order too?

I'm beginning to think Bernie Madoff had a hand in setting this company up!
