I started yoga a while ago, and in class we were using the YOGA BALLS. I figured since they used them in class, I'd buy one and I'd start working out at home.

I had gone to a few stores and started comparing prices. I hadn't made a decison yet when I saw the infomercial with the CORE SECRETS offer on it.

I watched it for a while and decided to order. I ordered the ball which came with a pump and a DVD for $10 plus shipping. They then offered to send me two new DVD's every two months for $10 a video. I declined the offer, as I was just interested in the yoga ball. They said that at any time I could send back any DVD for full credit if not satisfied. I still declined.

Everything was fine, got my ball in and started working out. Two months later, I got a package in the mail. There was no return address on it, but since my birthday was in a couple of days, I figured it was for that.

So I opened it and saw that It was a DVD from Core Secrets and the bill read, "Your credit card on file has been charged. Total amount $47.50" I called them up and asked what was going on. They said that they send out both DVD's in one pack (read- single DVD case) to save on shipping costs. So I asked how the shipping on one DVD was $27.50. They then informed me that each DVD was $19.95 and that if I wasn't satisified I could return them, but if they were opened I couldn't.

I asked where in their contract did it say I couldn't return opened merchandise and what about the 30-day money back satisfaction guarentee? Turns out that there wasn't any on the DVD's. Then I asked her if I was paying for 2 DVD's and didn't like one, how could I return the one since they both came in the same packaging. They told me it was tough luck.

I told them that I declined the offer for more DVD's and couldn't understand why they sent them anyway. I also pointed out that I was told the DVD's would be $10 a piece. She said I was misinformed and there was no indication on my account of declining the offer. I told her to make sure my account was canceled.

I should have gone to the other place. It cost me almost double the price as it would have at other places. From $25 at a retail store to almost $60.

Actually, you are joining a fitness club-the first invoice that you got with your ball said "you can expect your next shipment on (date) and it will be billed to the card ending in (number)" You had half of it right, you just left out the part where it said your next ship dfate. Nothing here was misleading, we informed you with the first and second package of your next ship date.

In no way do we tell you that you cannot send back the package, you can return it opened or unopened. It is guthy renkers 30 day money back guarantee. You mentioned in your complaint that "it said my card was billed" but you failed to voice the part where they todl you your next ship date...funny....as well was included on your invoice with the ball.

Onthe infomercial, and orderline it says you are joining a club and will be updated with new vids. Each dvd is 19.95, they send two together each shipment. If you are unpleased, you can send them back after viewing them for full product refund.

To all infomercial tv buyers. Keep your ears open when you are buying from the t.v or internet so that you dont make mistakes like that. Pay attention and read the terms along with the paperwork because in that case it isnt the companies fault.
