Three guys in a black SUV pulled up to me and offered me a "$2500" sound system for "as close to $600 as you can get." They told me that their boss had picked up extras and they didn't want him to have them for his house so they wanted to sell them for cash on the side. They asked me if I went to an ATM how much I could withdraw. I paid them $320 for "beer money".

Speakers are Olin Ross OR860. When I googled Olin Ross, there is no company website, only scammers reports.

This was in the Fred Meyer parking lot, Sammamish, WA. They told me they were from Kent, WA.

Not to mention you were also stupid enough to believe crooks selling bogus equipment from cars in parking lots were legit..

The fact they were selling out of car should have the BIG RED FLAG to you to stay away

Me and my boyfriend were in the car and all of a sudden these three guys in a black SUV pulled up onside of us so we rolled down our window. They had said something about speaker set, and to pull over at this bank that we were by. Naturally my boyfriend was interested so we stopped to see what they were talking about. The driver got out and showed us the product, the same Olin Ross product you spoke of. They showed us the product in this magazine, and showed a receipt. It said that they has payed $3000 for it. They had said something about they worked for a speaker company and whoever they bought it from messed up on the shipping and sent them three extras. They said something about the boss and whatnot and that they sold one to some asian for $800. Well we payed $220 for it and they accepted saying something about at least they have 'beer money'. Well your post is old and quite possibly they have upgraded to making magazines and whatnot. It is obviously a bogus story, but you are the one who went for $300 without knowing the real quality and placement. I'm not quite sure if they are stolen, the guys made them or what. Well I say the product works great, and the guys were pretty awesome so who the hell cares. Go ahead it's a pretty good system and obviously they have done this plenty before, just don't go too expensive. ;)

Haha he gave us his number, and he wrote "Call if you need anything for cars, speakers or t.v.'s" Quite obviously they have a business of some sort, legal or not the product is great once again.

Odds are the three guys in the black SUV stole those speakers so don't ask for warranty help.

Olin Ross and those speakers exist, see olinross.com
