My husband and I were invited by mail to attend a meeting and in return receive two round trip airline tickets anywhere in the continental US. We drove 120 miles round trip to sit through a three hour sales pitch. At the end we got the real picture. We were to write them a check for twelve thousand dollars minimum immediately in order to be a member of their travel club. I can't believe anyone has that kind of money in his or her checking account. Also, how could anyone be so gullible as to think these people should not be checked out before paying them that amount of money? Although the sales people were smooth and well-rehearsed, we were flabbergasted that they could be trying to steal so much so quickly. We were told to wait for our free round trip ickets to arrive in the mail, but two months later, surprise, they haven't come. Ya think?
