On May the 2nd I had a bad cold so I went to Lawrenceville to the Emergency room I got there around 12 midnight and I sat there up til 6:30 am May 3rd I discharged my self with out seeing a Doctor. The cold rocked on and rocked on so I went back to the ER that day around 1:00pm I told the doctor that I had a bad ear ache. He told me all my stuff looked good and needed to do a spinal tap that came back negetive. The Doctor Claud Morgan perscribed my Motroin 600mg for pain nothing for the ear infection. I called the hospital to get an antiboitic and they told me they couldn't do it that it was viral and would runs it's course. I had to go back to The ER this time to the hospital in Duluth I saw Dr. Hyatt who was real sweet she checked my ear and gave me an antobiotic to the infection so I got charge 3times for an ear infection. I think that is so wrong now because of the spinal tap my back hurts.

I take care of Adults with disabilites and special needs for Dr. Morgan to treat me like dirt and now hear me the paitent is wron and the hospital is charging me $6,000 nand there is nothing I can do about it. If you live in Gwinnett county go to another hospital they are slow and rude and will charge you hundreds of dollars.
Sincerely,
Leon

You went to the ER for a COLD????
The ER is for issues ie: Heart Attacks, Gun Shots, Car Wrecks etc etc
How do you think a hospital ER functions???? Get real - I work for a company that owns Hospitals and NUMBER 1 - the ER functions for life threatening conditions not for people with the flu, cold, minor bumps and bruises -
You went into the ER therefore you have to pay the price period - The Hospital has bills to pay too -
Next time go to a after hours clinic
