In 2006 I purchased a leftover 2005 Kia Sedona. I was told the price was as well as I recall, approximately $20,00.00, as was in the paper. I was told that the warranty on the car would be extended by the factory by the added mileage on the vehicle. I have later found that the factory will not extend the warranty and that I was ripped off.

I realize that I should have taken the time to read, but they kept shoving papers in front of me and telling what was in them so I signed.

When I asked about the difference in price, I was told that the sticker price was $28,000 plus because of the extras. I also asked about the first deal that was written that I would finance $19,000. I was told that I was mistaken.

The fact that I was lied to by both the salesman and the Manager espesically about the warranty and how the 1012 miles got on the car has me very upset. Also I forgot to mention the passanger door they were supposed to fix, the scratches on the doorhandles that they never fixed. The car went back to them 3 times for the a bove mentioned reasons.

It was on o ne of these visits that I mentioned to the man ager the car ad in the paper about the new Sedona and could I trade up. I was told that I was upside down, and that the car was worth about 14,000. and he would not or could not do it.

I don't want another person to get ripped off , lied to and then have to struggle to make a car payment. If this report can accomplish this I will be somewhat satisfied. I would like Kia to make good on this purchase, but I realize that as a buyer I should hav e been more cautious..

When I spoke to a Kia Dealer in Maryland, he also told me that he thought I had some valid points.

I also realize that ignorance is no excuse, But I think that honesty should be involved in any sale of this size. Being hustled by car dealers is just not a pleasant experience. Gwinnett Kia will never have me as a customer again.
