Purchased Stanley 62" zero turn mower in October, 2012.  Delivered Nov. 23, 2013.   Has been defective since day 1.  First choke was not assempled correctly and had to be adjusted.   The 2nd time I used the mower, two attempts at starting it drained the battery.  According to the manual, this is normal!!   Had to charge the battery before using.   Third time out, same thing, had to charge the battery and after being out about 15 minutes, one of the drive belts just shredded and came off.  The mower had to be towed to the barn.  GXI notified, closed service center is over 50 miles away and I had no way of taking it in so had to agree to pay $1.00 per mile for it to be picked up.  Was picked up on approx. May 6 by Dunn Outdoor Power in Lufkin, Tx.  

When I asked what turn around time was, I was told 3 to 3 1/2 weeks.  To me that means from pick up to return.  But apparently to the service center, that meant they would not be able to look at it for 3 1/2 weeks!!   Once they looked at it and submitted a "diagnosis" to GXI, it has been a series of blame between GXI and service center and took over two months for the right belt to be shipped to service center.  Then the mower wouldn't start and they are still unsuccessful in getting it started.  My patience has run out with the total incompetence on both sides, I have had to use a Craftsman 42" riding mower to cut the 3 acres I should be using the Stanley for.  I am tired of the delays and excuses and still no end in sight for the repair and return of my mower.  I want a full refund at this point to purchase something I can depend on and get service from a reputable service center.
