Complaint Review: H& R block

Wow dang I hope I got this thing right have never done this before. Anyways I am on a pension as I stated I been dealing with H&R block for over 30 year's never had any trouble with em till recently. But because i am on a pension by law i have too report my earning's from the pension and also bring in my rent reciept's so every year i bring stubs from ODSP and rent receipts.

So in 2009/2010 no different bring everything with me as required by law and they proceeded too do my income tax for me now I have no clue how too do this which is why i bring it to them and have them do it as they are supposedly the specialist in this area. There was a worker and still is her name i am assuming is edna. she is one who did my income tax for me. supposedly correctly gives me the papers i am too sign that proves everything i provided them was correct which it was income statement's from odsp and rent reciepts nothing more as i don't work nor would i do anything that would cause me problems with my income as i need to live.

Well anyways they supposedly give me back money i am supposed too get cause assuming they used all my information to complete it for me. Well low an behold a couple years go by and i get a notice from them claiming i got 154.00 that wasn't suppose too come too me because apparently edna did not use my odsp income statement's so because of this i am suppose too pay them back this money which has now rose too 172.00. Which i told them listen what did this lady do with my income statement's i brought in.

no answer only too keep saying i have too pay this money back cause they messed up on their end and did not get paid so they expect me to repay their loss which i am sorry i don't feel i am they made mistake so i feel they should bite the bullet on it not my fault so what happens they go ok well since you won't pay us this cash your going into collection angentcy. So my ? is this what can be done about this cause i do not feel i owe them the money they were dumb enough not to make sure they did my income tax right. And i called revenue canada and they said the same thing it is not my fault nor am i responsible for their mistake.

But as result i haven't been able too do my 2011/2012 income tax as i have too wait till revenue canada sends me a note stating i do not owe the government but h&R block only. And than i have to get my income tax done somewhere's else and hope they don't mess it up. Cause i do not need my income messed with because odsp wants too know everything i do with income i get an claim right so i feel that h&r block is trying to scew around with my income.  it is like they are trying to say oh i didn't bring my income statement's which was not true she had em on her desk with rent reciepts so if she didn't complete it right or use my income statements than what did she do with them.


Sorry for the lenth but was only ways too get this out too you. hope everything makes sence. ty for time hope too hear some good new's that willl put an end too their garbage they are trying to pull on me.
