Complaint Review: Habitat du Lac Leamy - Q Residential

I went online to search for bachelor and 3 1/2 apartments in the Gatineau, Quebec area and I came across this web site for nice apartment building type residential apartments for bachelors and 3 1/2's, which looked nice online with fancy pictures but I found out later through my research, this building has had a serious history of previous renters with major complaints and very poor property management. The person I e-mailed online for more info. told me in written form, she is pressured by management to forcefully ask all potential renters for an immediate $200.00 deposit from any apartment or else she cannot guarantee it will be available. This prompted me to take immediate action, as you would expect, and I have had an absolute nightmare trying to get back my initial $200.00 deposit in Canadian postal money-order from these criminals, a money order which they received and lied about having yet did not cash in so they could hold it as a security deposit. It's been two grueling long months now and I'm still waiting for my money back! The criminality and corruption is rampant in every domain, from rental properties to corporate greed, there's just no end in sight.
