We went to several meetings regarding a tiny home community that Janet Ashforth was trying to organize. We left a refundable deposit and now that we are not interested she will not give us our money back, we have multiple emails stating she will but now she will not return our calls or return our emails. when you call her she says it is not her. We do not know how many more people she has done this to , we do not want more people to have to go through this. She is a fraud and we are reporting this to everyone . We want the word to get out! Please do not give habitats tiny homes money.

When the company purchased a property other than the one agreed on, it was no longer near my work. I was told I would be notified before Habitats went into escrow, but that was not the case. Even so, Habitats refuses to return the deposit. I am now in the process of filing a complaint with a couple of government agencies.
