Complaint Review: Hacienda Inn

I tried to stay at this motel because my car was being repaired nearby. I have stayed in some dumps before but at least the owners of other establishments at least try to make the best of the facilitites by at least doing minor repairs and keeping it clean.

This place had a non working phone, rats behind the building with rat droppings in the rooms. worn out bed linens, drywall molded and falling in, non working faucets, sticky doors, etc.

The cops were in the parking lot soon after I checked in busting someone for drug possession. The owners of this motel obviously just arrived from India and have a different understanding of what is adequate to serve americans.

Stay away from this place especially since there are many good hotels nearby for similar cost. The Motel 6 in Tracy is decent with new wifi, for those on a budget. There are some higher end motels here as well, with most major players being represented. With the combination of a small town, and the amount of competitition, room rates are low low, no reason to even consider the Hacienda Inn.

After objecting to this room, the owner declined to provide a refund. I have rejected rooms at motels before, rarely, and was never turned down for a refund by any previous motel owners.
