Complaint Review: Hair Club for Men

 I have been a client of HCM for 6 years and I'm trying to get out. I admit i stayed to long but i was desperate for it to work for me. The fact that when you go to the consultation and they don't tell you it's basically a wig they glue on your head should be a tip off that they are deceptive. They use this sophisticated jargon in their brochures to make you think it's actually a more permanent solution. The membership advisor is a nasty women who insulted and made it look like i was doing something wrong everytime they failed to give me a system that fit me. Unless you are loaded you cannot afford the maintenance on this product. This was continuous problem for them and would be good for a little while to keep me going there so they can rip me off some more. They continuously harass you to purchase their overpriced products which in my.opinion are garbage, Most of them dry out the hair and I'm not convinced they are any better than salon shampoos or drugstore brands, They trap you into contracts that are confusing and they don't tell you what your options are. They try to milk you out of every dime. Some of stylists try to be helpful but most them don't care how to put the system on your head and check if it's sized correctly, so you are stuck with this ill-fitting thing on your head. I'm getting a wig and saving my money. Most of the people there are unhelpful the receptionists are not friendly at all. I don't need this aggravation. Jane, New Jersey
