Complaint Review: Hala Pickford

Hala Pickford The Rudolph Valentino Society Deceitful Site! Do Not Join Rudolph Valentino Fans! Internet

I really do not appreciate people like this who rip off fans of any entertainer, in this case fans of Rudolph Valentino. I joined The Rudolph Valentino Society only to find out it is fraudelent. The phone number listed after you pay belongs to a residental couple who have had the number for 30 years. Hala Pickford would not call me back even when I offered to accept the charges or return my emails. Please I encourage any Rudolph Valentino fans who want to buy any merchandise not to trust this fanclub/society because the lady who runs it is only ripping off true fans like myself. If you want to buy merchandise/memorabilia, go to referable companies like Amazon. In closing, I didn't feel comfortable that this supposed society did not have a legit phone number listed on the site. Please beware, all Rudolph Valentino fans.

I'm Hala Pickford, and I will tell you exactly what will happen: there will be 20 more vaguely named individuals who are in reality David Bret of davidbret.blogspot.com, Tracy Terhune of valentinoforever.com and Zachary Jaydon aka Jaydon D. Paull of exposekatielynnbirchard.blogspot.com.

Three individuals (and their friends) out to destroy me for proving Rudolph Valentino was straight.  I had a restraining order against Terhune that lapsed (he sued me and won by default...automatically sans proof), Bret is in the UK but is
currently harassing the parents of Madeline McCann, and Paull has a record as long as my arm.  I also have a restraining order against him which can be found in the Burbank, CA court system (along with the other mentioned documents to prove what I have said.)

All transactions for all my companies go through Paypal.  So you would think that if I was ripping anyone off in any form or way, Paypal would probably have record and note of that.  Like these people could provide proof.  Don't worry, they'll fake it, but I urge anyone to contact paypal in regards to the standing of my paypal business account,
forgetthetalkies@gmail.com .  They can claim whatever they like here, but anyone who wishes to believe them or doubt me may go to the Burbank courthouse or contact paypal.  I am willing to screenshot my account to prove there has never been even a complaint filed, let alone some person winning one.

In regards to the so far only complaint (I expect several from their friends) claiming there's a false phone number and its been owned by some couple for 30 years, I urge anyone to ask paypal if there is a number listed on my invoices.  There is not.  The paypal number I use to call paypal (but do not display publicly) is my own private number.
There is no number on rudolphvalentino.org (listed anywhere) and there is currently no number listed on 1921pvg.com (there was a year ago when I had a business number starting with 310, but I no longer have it or list it.)

The claim in question is quite crazy because it says I rip off people, and then urges 'real fans' to buy memorabilia from other sites.  Flaw in the plan: I don't sale memorabilia.  I have sold Society merchandise through Zazzle.com in which Zazzle handles all the orders and processing (so any number or money or anything would be with zazzle.com, not me,
and I have never heard of any complaints after two years of using them), and through rudolphvalentino.org there is no memorabilia for sale.  Just memberships to the society and a few old links to books (which I still honor by shipping through lightningsource.com , again they handle the money and shipping, not me.)  If any fan that bought a membership is unhappy, they have yet to contact me which is not too hard, I have several emails listed and they are all easy to find. But the fake phone number (again minding rudolphvalentino.org has never listed a phone number) says it all.

Expect more fake 'complaints' of me by these lunatics trying to destroy my life.  But before you believe them, do me the courtesy of emailing paypal to verify my account is clean, and look around my site and tell me where you see a phone number or memorabilia for sale (in fact, look at caches too.  Never been there, ever.)

Updated August 22nd, 2012: For the record when the Society revamped on early June 2012 we made a new setup for membership out of my own personal preference.  We no longer have merch to sell on the site and membership is now free: http://rudolphvalentino.org/join-the-rudolph-valentino-society/

I have since closed the paypal account in question, but the person I suspect was used as a rouse by the aforementioned men to file this was given an immediate refund they never asked for and told never to contact or purchase from us again.  I have had no other complaints, and I still have no publicly listed phone number due to harassment and have no plans to do so.
