An Employee Annie that works for Hale Kai charged my credit card for a stay that I did not stay or even been to that property. Annie said that she would send me two airline tickets and a 9 day stay at that resort for my upcoming trip. I never recieved the tickets or any tracking number she claimed to have sent them. My credit card was charged and a receipt was sent to me and the receipt had another persons name and adress on it for a prior stay that has already stayed their for 5 nights using my name and credit card to pay for. I talked to Hale Kai on many occasions trying to resolve this and Michael the manager of accounting said just report it to your credit card company for fraud. So beware of doing business with this resort because they are not willing to back their employees that do fraud.

I stand by what I said. Business is business and friendship has nothing to do with this matter. The Resort is giving wrong information and dates but I have receipts and police report numbers to back my complaints of fraud.

This individual states that her credit card was charged for services not authorized or recieved. The rental manager at Hale Kai states she was provided with an open phone call by Lou Ann Plummer and spoke with her on May 9, 2008. She asked Ms Ortega if she was a friend of Ms Plummers and Ms Ortega stated she was. The rental manager states that Ms Ortega authorized Hale Kai to charge her credit card for the stay of other friends of Ms Plummer's. On May 13, 2008 the rental manager staes that Ms Ortega called to challenge the charge.
If Ms Ortega has an issue with Lou Ann Plummer it has no bearing on Hale Kai and we respectfully request that Ms Ortega rescind her complaint immediately.
