Ah, Larry Hales and Hales Global. You just never know what zany Larry is going to say, perhaps because he doesn't know, either, until he makes it up.
In the latest news, old Larry sent an email to Word Wise Copy -- after his bill was 18 months old and we had not heard from him in more than a year -- finally offering to pay his account (which is $2,300 including interest).
Larry also made weird references to paying us a "bonus" as well. A bonus. That's hilarious. We can;t get this guy to pay his $2,300 bill, yet he's offering a bonus?
He asked in his email for Word Wise Copy to call him on the phone to "settle his account," as he wrote.
So we shrugged and gave the old boy the benefit of the doubt, called him up and -- guess what? He hung up the phone!
An hour later he sends an email telling Word Wise Copy to stop "threatening" him. And that his "lawyers" are ready to take action.
Wooooo. How scary is that?!
So Word Wise Copy wrote immediately to Larry's lawyer, who responded promptly and clearly had no idea whatever it is Larry is babbling about. The lawyer did promise to get in touch with good-old Larry.
Who knows what will be the latest outcome in the ongoing saga of Larry Hales, Hales Global, and its $2,300 debt? You can bet two things:
1. It will be koo-koo.
2. It probably won't involve Larry owning up to his debt and paying his bill.
His "story" has evolved so many times in the last 18 months that it could be adapted into a soap opera.
Meanwhile, we've gathered quite a few comments from Hales' former clients, all of whom had less than complimentary things to say about this so-called businessman.

...I will publish every email Larry Hales sent, in which he acknowledges his company's $2,000 debt to Word Wise Copy. The next step will be to contact every governemnt agency, including the Small Business Administration, to share details of this debt with them in full.
