I received a flyer in mail with an attractive offer: Make $1,000 to $5,000 every week We need you to fold and mail our catalogs urgently.

You may wonder why I could be as candid as to trust them. The truth is that I don't believe that you can make such money easily. Indeed I expected to have hard work to perform to earn $1,000. It didn't look like a make-money-quick scheme or any pyramid scheme, chain letter or whatsoever.

I thought there was a catch, and I thought the catch would lie in the # of pages per catalog. It could take long hours to fold these catalogs, and maybe after all paying folks $10 per catalog (+ Shipping costs back & forth) would be a better deal for Halifax than paying for a machine and/or regular employees.

To be more concise, I expected and agreed to be "exploited" and underpaid, not robbed!

I mailed a $55 check on August 9th, 2002, and should have received 100 catalogs within 10 days. They cashed my check on August 16th, 2002. Today is September 15th, 2002. I didn't hear from them, and never received the promised catalogs.

OK, I should have checked about them on your web site before sending a check! And I should have checked on the yellow pages, where indeed there is nothing like a Halifax Communication company in Florida. How can these guys still be in business (read: in highway robbery business) instead of being in jails?
