Complaint Review: Hallmark Roofing

Stay away from this company!
Company came as a referral from a realtor.
The roof inspection was a requirement for the pending sale of the property. 
The free estimate indicated needed repairs that could have been completed by a handyman with a brush and a little elastomer roof coating. 
I'm not a licensed roofing contractor but I maintained the roof for 20 years.
I watched the employee apply one coat of coating on 17 scuppers and left.
The bid for the job was a 3 course build up on each of the scuppers to prevent ponding of water. When I disputed the bill it was explained that the proposed work was at the discretion of the contractor.
I attempted to file with the AZ Registrar of Contractors but they settle disputes regarding quality of workmanship not the price the contractor charges. It was then that I began to look into this company and found multiple complaints on BBB and YELP.
The contractor filed an intent to place lien against the property which blocks the sale of the house. I submitted to extortion in order to proceed with the sale of the home.Stay away from this company!
