Opened up my credit card bill after a stay here on August 6th.  I noticed I had an extra charge of $250.  I immediately contacted the hotel only to be told that I would have to speak to a Manager and there wasn't one on duty.  Well after many days I finally spoke to someone named Chelsea who stated this charge was from smoking in my room.  Hmmm I said - I didn't smoke in the room.  In essence she called me a liar and will not reverse the charge to my credit card.  I have asked numerous times for a receipt of my stay and have never received one.  She told me she had proof that I smoked in the room so they sent me a picture (undated) of some white stuff on a counter.  

Doesn't prove a thing.  Im not sure if the Housekeeper(s) needed a smoke or what but I know this room wasn't smoked in by me.  My daughter was with me and can attest to that fact.  Upon check in I had my doubts this room had even been cleaned to begin with.  There was a water botte cap on the bathroom floor in plain site.  Mold around the bathtub.  I will never stay at a Hampton or a Hilton ever again in my life and I will continue to alert others about my experience there.  People have a right to know of the shady practices that go on in these kind of places.  In reading the reviews on complaints I can see I am just another person who was taken advantage of and I can see there are many.  Hilton used to be a respected business..........I can see that no longer holds.
