We had just moved down to FL from NH, my father in laws girlfriend worked at the Hampton INN and recommened us there. We also her discount which was $30 a night versus $60. We stayed there for a month and a half.

I have a 14 month old son who loves fruit loops. We checked out early in the morning, I had cleaned up the room, but all the garbage in a large bag and sheets and towels in a bag also. Four days later I checked my credit balance online, and found that the hotel had charged my an extra $250.00.

We I spoke with them, they said it was because it took them so long to vaccuum and because one of the dresses was leaning and needed to be replaced. I asked for receipt of the new dresser or give me the old dresser.

They refused both, why because they kept the same dresser, because it was already broken and had a piece of wood under it, to support. The manager was incredibly rude, and unwilling to work with us.

To top it all off when my father in laws girlfriend first called to tell him we were getting charged for the room, she told him it was a $100, and he told her he would pay it.

Once he got there, they said they already charged the $100 into $250. The whole hotel staff is rude and lazy.
