Complaint Review: Handi-Tech Company

This company has been preying on my 88 year old Mother and others for years. Their high pressure techniques for sales and collection cause fear, threatening damage to her credit with intimidating techniques. They hang up when threatened by other than my Mother and continue to call back until they find her alone and can continue their devious ways.

I contacted the Federal Trade Commission to report them. You can too by going to ftc.gov. I have also written to US Attorney General Alberto Gonzales asking for his assistance in solving the problem of this and other similiar companies who claim to be aiding handicapped or disadvantage with the sale of $200 wind chimes, light bulbs, and deodorizing room sprays.
If you or a relative have encountered this company which also has been active in Muncie, IN, please call or e-mail the FTC and report them. The FTC also advised calling the Better Business Bureau in your state and in TN and contacting the Attorney General of your state and TN.

Aren't we suppose to protect the elderly?
