Back toward the end of 2006, received an offer to try useful tools and as I remember I paid a small fee to cover postage under this trial.
Received some plastic tools, ruler etc that were of no use to me. So the membership promise was they would send out more tools to review. Come to find out I had subscribed to a year's subscription of Handyman magazine for $24.
I called them within a month to cancel because I did not want such and was upset at the deceptive marketing practice. I may have received one magazine and nothing else to may knowledge.
I also send a written notice in April to cancel the the membership and they just keep on billing for the $24.
