Complaint Review: Hanke Brothers Siding

Hanke Brothers installed new windows in my home. This one window has leaked from the day of purchase. I have called them on numerous occasions to repair leak. They did respond one time. In 2008 I noticed that my carpet was a dark color around that particular window. Upon futher inspection I found the widow sill coming apart. I started complaining to them again about this same leaky window. They came out finally last year and looked at it, but made no repairs. An individual who claimed to be with Hanke Brothers had nothing but excuses as to why they hadn't repaired the leak. Excuses from unstable work crew to back-up orders due to inclement weather. I informed the person that I understood but that I wanted my leaky window repaired. I never heard back from them. Now I understand that this person was just brushing me off.

I decided before taking legal action I would file this report. My wife and I chose Hanke Brothers for both the siding and window installation because we thought they had a good reputation and stood behind their work. But so far we are very dissappointed. I would tell anyone thinking of siding to serously reconsider. My Wife and I discovered most recently that siding is all most as costly as brick, and alot more maintenance. 

We are not pleased to say the least. All we want is our window fixed and any damage created from the leak to be repaired.
