Manufacturer's warranties

#2Consumer Comment

That is the way manufacturers' warranties work. They cover the repair of manufacturers' defects, nothing more (including shipment of your product). It is the customer's responsibility to transport said product to and from the manufacturer's repair center. May I suggest you refer to the Magnum-Ross Warranty Act, which reiterates what I've just stated. Additionally, under this legislation, every electronics store is required by law to have a copy of every manufacturer's warranty for every product that they sell, and present it to customers upon request. This way, the customer can see the terms and conditions of said warranty before deciding to purchase a product.
