Complaint Review: Hannspree North America Inc.

Hannspree North America, Inc. A&D Electronics, LLC / Hannspree2311 E. Locust CourtOntario, CA 91761888-808-6789 Hannspree Warranty Repair Service is Terrible. Sent in my Hannspree Tablet on August 21, 2015 and of of today, October 1st, 2015 STILL have not received by repaired tablet back from this company!! Have call this company every week, and I was told the same thing over and over again, that they are waiting for a part to come in. Ontario California

Purchased a Hannspree tablet from NewEgg.com. Had the tablet for less then a month, and stopped working and wouldn't turn on. The tablet was covered by the Hannspree 1-year warranty.

Called Hannspree support and then sent me the information to return the tablet under an RMA.

Tablet was sent back to Hannspree on 08-21-2015. As of 10-01-2015, I still have not received back yet my repaired tablet.

I have called the company 4 times now, over a  6 week period, and each time I get the same old tired response "We are waiting for a part for your tablet.) And there's no other information that they can give, other then they will contact me, whenever the tablet is repaired and is ready to be shipped back out.

From my research on the Internest, this seems to be a common warranty repair issue for Hannspree, with some people claiming that they just gave up after not receiving anything back over several months. Or in other words, Hannspree Warranty Repair, has stolen their tablets!

I have also read a lot of problems and issues with all kinds of Hannspree products like tablets, monitors, etc.

This is TOTALLY unacceptable, and this company really should be barred from selling ANYTHING in the US until they can improve their products and ESPECIALLY their warranty repair service!!

I will be surprised if I ever get my tablet back from this joke of a "warranty repair service!"

UPDATE - Repaired Tablet Finally Received Back!

UPDATE - Tablet has been repaired and has been returned back to me on 10-28-2015.

Tablet was received by Hannspree-US for repair on 08-21-2015.

Repaired tablet was sent out and received back on 10-28-2015.

67 days (2 months and 7 days) turn-around time from once Hannspree received the tablet to when I got it back.

Not a very good track record!

On the plus side of things, that tablet is working very well (so far) and I'm hoping that what ever was wrong with it before (most likely the battery and possibly an SSD problem, as they said they changed both of those out for new ones) I surely hope that now has been resolved. Because when this tablet is actually WORKING, its a great tablet with great features and at a great price!

In any event, I'm a much happier consumer now that I've got my tablet FINALLY repaired and returned!
