been with HARBORTOUCH for over 3 years, sold business and hit with 250.00 fee for termination (small print automatic renewal). never been treated this way before by cr card processor and have sold 3 businesses. also was told i would get a free cash register when i signed on, guess what, it was not free they were charging me for it.
my advice, never do business wifth harbortouch, not customer friendly and out for every dollar they can get from you.

EMAILED CEO OF HARBORTOUCH ABOUT MY PROBLEM AND HE REMOVED THE EARLY TERMINATION FEE. I WAS IMPRESSED CEO EMAILED ME BACK PROMPTLY AND I ACTED TOO QUICKLY WITH FILING RIPOFF REPORT. CEO IS REALLY A NICE GUY.

Yes, Harbortouch's standard agreement auto renews. However, you should simply sign up through an agent that waives the cancellation fee so this isn't an issue.
The cash register is free, you simply pay $79/yr for the warranty & maintenance. For how much the cash register cost (does integrated processing), it takes them multiple years to pay it back, assuming they don't spend more money fixing it.
