Hari Fashions Sundar Rajan textile manufacturing fraud- looked good initially, took thousands and delivered nothing Erode Tamil Nadu

Be warned:  Do not do business with Hari Fashions, or any business affiliated with Sundar Rajan.

We placed an order for them to manufacturer a couple hundred baby blankets over two years ago.  They seemed to be legitimate by sending us a few samples of what we had ordered, but then they required that we pay for our entire order up front.  (It was our mistake to listen to their suggestion to not pay them through the Elance escrow program.) We paid them by wire, and they told us the order would be completed and shipped within 15-20 days.  They told us they received our payment on March22, 2012.

As I write this they are over 980 days late.

Every time we correspond, they (specifically the owner, Sundar) make more promises or provide more excuses as to why the blankets (or even samples of the final design) have not shipped. We repeatedly asked for them to ship those that they claimed had already been completed, and they always ignored those requests.  We were positioned to give them hundreds of thousands of dollars (USD) of business, but they have proven too incompetent even to respond to email or call us at the times that they themselves told us in a phone conversation that they would.

If you have started to negotiate, I urge you to find another vendor, because they will sound legitimate and friendly, but they are a business with no integrity.  I report this complaint about Hari Fashions and any other business with which Sundar Rajan  from Tamil Nadu, India is affiliated not for any personal gain, but to hopefully protect other businesses from making the same fatal mistake… with money, and most of all, a tremendous amount of lost time.

The below is the chain of email from the last 5 months... if you would like me to forward the entire two years worth of empty promises I would be happy to, but if you start at the bottom and work up, it should be sufficient for you to realize that you do not want to do business with this individual or any company with which he is affiliated.

Sundar-
What is the date that this 20 days expires?

Am I correct in calculating that the date by which you promised below that everything would be ready will be this Tuesday, September 17th?

Sundar -

This is the last note you will receive from me before I devote a staff member to scour textile and manufacturing websites, looking for businesses related to you, clearly articulating the service we have (not) received, including an attachment of our email chains, where possible.

I hate wasting my staff's time for such a negative activity, but you took my money, you made promises, you have repeatedly failed to keep your word, and most painfully you have lost all the potential customers that had reached out to me over the past year.

All I asked was that you remain in weekly contact.

You can either wire the money back to me, deliver the blankets, or find yourself reading constant complaints about your business. Please understand, once I start the campaign against your business, it will not stop.

I will not accept apologies that you offer only after you start to see the consequences of my promise.

It disappoints me so much to have to operate with such negative objectives, because I would much rather spend the time growing my business than harming yours, but you leave me no choice.

I truly hope our relationship can remain positive, but the choice is yours.
