Bought new $185.27  battery from this dealer July 17 2015 for my 2000 Electraglide. Battery failed to maintain charge and I returned to dealership July 2016 2 weeks before the end of the 1 year warranty. Spoke with young man behind sales counter and told him I had a bad battery with all receipts. He told me he would have to test battery first for warranty replacement.

I went back to check on battery and they told me there was no problem found. They wanted me to bring the bike in and pay them to check the electrical system. Electrical system was fine as I have a voltmeter in the fairing and could see it charging the battery. The young man who I spoke with earlier told me he spoke to John, who I assume to be the sales manager and he was told not to honor the warranty on my battery by John. I asked if they did a load test and another person I assume to be a service person told me "Yes, we did. That is why the test took so long." I returned home and Put battery back in the bike and it would not start the bike the next morning.

Purchased battery tender from another source and the battery would never get to full charge even after it was removed from the bike it would still not take a full charge. Tested battery tender on another battery that has been sitting in my garage and it charged to full charge overnight on the same tender. No problem with the tender and no problem with my electrical system. Battery would still not maintain charge on its own without battery tender and would still not go to full charge

Purchased new battery from another source for $45 less with a 2 year warranty and it works fine and is still working fine with no problems. John, who I assume to be the sales manager has lost my business. I purchased this motorcycle new from this dealership and have spent many $$ there since 2000. I have never had any other warranty claims with this dealer or anywhere else. This is exceptionally poor customer service and if they treat everyone like this they will not have any customers left. I will post this complaint on every forum I can to let as many people know that HD of Pensacola will not honor warranties and people should not spend thier money with this dealership.
