I was employed with this company as their Controller, therefore I trusted that they would do right by me in ensuring they installed a (as requested) high quality and efficient system. My system was installed 12/5/2014. During the time of my employment I've had a few continuous problems with my system, however they kept telling me everything was okay. They did replace my sensors earlier this year, but the problem still exists. For ethical and personal reasons, I decided to terminate my employment with Harper's Air. So in listening to my gut, I decided to get a second opinion with my system, and have discovered that they under sized my system by 1 ton. I have mold starting to grow in my home, my electricity bill is $200+ a month for a 1800 sq. ft. house. Despite the fact that I keep the temp at 76 degrees. I've called on many occaisions, but the office informed me that Terry Harper has instructed all the staff that they are not to transfer my call to service and I must deal with Terry directly. However, he won't return my calls, answer my text messages. Therefore I am taking a stand publicly to inform others of the non-integrity of this company and it's owners.

He may claim that I am discruntled, but that's not true. There's the principle and this is strictly business. I expect the company I trusted to keep their promise. I asked, and paid for a quality system. I paid for an extra parts and labor warranty in order to maintain the service as my extended 10 year warranty states.

I will be fighting this legally since Harper's has left me with no choice but to take legal action. I would recommend that others find a different company to do your business with.

Steer clear from Harper's Air.

I highly dissagree with the rebutle. Not once was the duct work ever recommended for replacement or repair. Absolutely the opposite! I was concerned about the old duct work in this home. Why would they install a brand new TRANE system, but leave the old duct work. BUT, I was assurred by Terry Harper himself that the old duct work work be sufficient. Despite the long trunk line to the back bedroom; It didn't make sense to me, but they were the experts. 

Yes, its true its amicable that I no longer want to do business with Harper's Air, and I would head warning to others to do the same. They do not hold ethical values or practices in this establishment as I know first hand from being employed there. They try to hold the highest value with their customers, but sometimes they miss the bar. I'm just one of those customers. I thought they would take care of their employee's, but again I saw first hand "behind the scene's" how valued their employees are.

We provided the contratcted services to this client and designed the system based on the specifications provided by the client. The remodel that was done required additional investment for duct work which they chose not to do. As a business owner,  I elected not to do any more business with this person.   Harpers Air has been in business since 1969 and continues to provide excellence in service and installation of HVAC systems for both commercial and residential applications.
