Complaint Review: Harper Tayla

I responded to a Facebook offer by a perported Cavalier King Charles breeder, Harper Tayla, of Wetumpka, Alabama.  She offered a puppy named Elsa, with pictures, for $1200, plus $270 for air transportation to Sky Harbor International Airport, Phoenix, Arizona.  Flight, date and times were provided.  The shipping service, Pet Embark Transport, acknowledged they had the puppy prepared for the agreed upon flight times, but there was a problem.  The shipping carrier containing the puppy was not acceptable for transport.  Pet Embark then offered to provide an acceptable shipping crate for prices ranging from $1000 to $1500.  Not having expected this additional charge I attempted contact with the seller, there was no immediate response.  Contacting Pet Embark I reluctantly negotiated transport for a $500 fee.  Since making this payment there has been no further communication.
