Well folks, here is my horror story! First off, i purchased a used 2005 nissan xterra at about 9:15 pm on a saturday night. Within less then a day of leaving the lot I noticed a vibration coming from the transmission of the vehicle. I then decided to bring it to my local nissan dealer, as I live over 2 hours from the dealer I purchased this vehicle from, meanwhile I was not terribly concerned at first due to the fact that I had also purchased and extended bumper to bumper warranty.

The plot thickens! Well of course I was sold a vehicle with what seems to be a bad transmission, and due to the fact that this appears to be a "pre-existing" issue the warranty does not cover it! So I then got back into contact with harrelson nissan, which i had tried to do since the very next day to inform them of the situation, and I was virtualy attacked within seconds of being on the phone with the now notorious - at least to me Lloyd Edwards - the general manager!
Lloyds word's -
Lloyd - well, why am i just now hearing about this?

Me - because i have called since sunday to no avail! they keep redirecting me to either Tyrone or the finance manager.

Lloyd - well you seemed to have no problem getting in touch with me this time, why is that? as his tones becomes much more aggitated!

Me - as I am not the receptionist that directs the calls, I am just the person attempting to be directed, not to mention the fact that on this occasion I made my self very clear that i would talk to no one else but the supervising manager. this is how i finnaly got through to you!

Lloyd - well if you would have called me right away, we would have taken care of the problem for you!

Me - are you kidding me? i just told you that i have attempted to get in touch with you since sunday and have been getting the run around!

Lloyd - well you have had no problem getting ahold of me this time!

So, from here i then had to inform him that if need be, i could have a copy of my cell phone bill which clearly lists all of my call to prove to him that i had been trying to contact them on the issue. What does good ole' Lloyd do from there? The coward simply hung up the phone! Can you believe this!

So i called over to Harrelson ford and tried to go that route, again a dead end. So now my warranty company and I are still involved in an ongoing battle over this vehicle> I guess in the end what I am trying to say here is HARRELSON NISSAN WILL ABSOLUTELY RIP YOU OFF AND THEN WHEN SOMETHING HAPPENS WILL MAKE YOU FEEL LIKE A CRIMINAL AND TRY TO TELL YOU THAT YOU CAUSED THE ISSUE! Yes even after you have only driven it from there lot to your house and then to the repair dealership, a total of less then 200 miles and yet there is no way that this was pre-existing -at least that is what " Lloyd " with what seems to be no mechanical expertice would have you believe! BUYER BEWARE!!!
