We recently bought a 'pre-owned' luxury car from Harrelson Toyota and during the negotiation process the salesman told us all about how all their cars undergo a 120 point inspection before they are offered for sale.

Since this was a luxury vehicle, we wanted to see exactly what was done because service on these cars is very expensive. When pressed for the information the salesman told us he couldn't find it but he was sure that they looked it over and there was no problem. He referred us to the service manager for more info.

After talking with the service manager for a while he eventually told us that he'd gotten a call from a sales manager and was told to tell us 'they'd looked it over and everything was OK.' The Service Manager said that he did not want to lie and confessed that service had never seen the car.

The service manager agreed to perform an initial service on the car; there may be nothing wrong but if they will lie about that you cannot trust anything they say.

I will post a follow up once the car has been seen.

A TOYOTA DEALERSHIP TO GIVE THAT DEALERSHIP A BAD NAME!

Guess what? Almost EVERY Toyota Dealership in the USA has at least ONE bad person working there!

Believe it or not, it's almost ALWAYS the one, or ones at the TOP!

Toyota Corporation KNOWS this, & they obviously support it. Toyota Corporation WANTS unethical people working at its Dealer Network, and even WORSE, they WANT unethical people running, & operating these dealerships!!!

BOYCOTT TOYOTA!

SPREAD IT ALL OVER THE WEB!

P.S. Toyota will even TARGET honest people working at its dealerships!!!! Toyota WANTS dishonest, & unethical people representing its product because Toyota BELIEVES it will sell more vehicles by doing business in an unethical & dishonest way!!

You still bought the car from someone you knew was lying to you? Way to go! How do you expect anyone to take your complaint seriously if you didn't? Next time you wonder where to find an honest car dealer, remember who you supported with your last purchase.

TO THEIR CUSTOMERS ABOUT service that was supposedly done on their 'Pre-Owned' vehicles to their customers, and they'll LIE TO THEIR SALESPEOPLE TOO, in order to defraud them out of their COMMISSIONS!

Always demand to see the 'REPAIR ORDER', or 'WORK ORDER' from the SALES MANAGER for all of the 'SERVICE' that was supposedly done by the 'Service Department' on the vehicle that you are interested in. It should be in the FILE for the 'Pre-Owned' vehicle, so management could add it to the true cost of that vehicle.

Believe it or not, MANY Toyota salespeople all over the USA are being DEFRAUDED by the Toyota dealership where they work!!

Management can TELL a salesperson that there were REPAIRS done on a pre-owned vehicle when there NEVER WERE ANY REPAIRS DONE AT ALL!

It's a way that Toyota dealerships can make extra money by DEFRAUDING THEIR OWN EMPLOYEES!

If EVERY Toyota salesperson checked with the MECHANIC who did repairs on the pre-owned vehicle before they sold the vehicle, many would find out that they were being SCAMMED, or DEFRAUDED out of their COMMISSIONS.

Louis Harrelson is known far and wide as the biggest liar and scam artist in the Carolinas. I'm still wondering how he escaped jail time for his last bit of "creative financial doings". Even more, I wonder how he could possibly still be in business !! Testimony proved that he regualarly instructs all of his employees to lie, cheat, steal...whatever is needed to make a sale. I would certainly go elsewhere to purchase an automobile.
