My issue is that HCTRA sent me to collections without sending me invoices which resulted in hundreds of dollars in fees.  First of all, I am not a toll violator.  However, looking at the time of night when the violations took place, I am thinking my step son must have been creeping in my car.  My issue is that while these tolls were racking up, HCTRA was not sending out toll invoices.  I would have addressed these issues then, but instead they send me to collections.  This collections agency informed me that I would have to request a hearing in order to dispute the cases at this point but they are unable to give me a court date at the time of the call, they would send out the hearing date later.  They never sent the notice notifying me of the hearing date, so I am now liable for additional charges for a failure to appear.  This is not fair and a conspiracy to conducted by these two MEGA organizations that is a sure win for them both and a total rip off tax payers because now if I don't pay, they can block my vehicle registration.

Im a betting man and I would suggest that your son has been intercepting the mail before it gets to you. You may have actually recieved this information but your kid hid it on you. Awful nice to see the american consumer doing as they always do. Jumping to conclusions with evidence then wild accusations to follow shortly after.

You son has been stealing your car and intercepting the mail so he doesnt have to deal with YOU. Obviously. Its very common and not unheard of. But the sad part is, everything he does/did in your car is your responsability legally.

So I would confront your kid with the police there and maybe make him spend a night in jail to help him learn not to steal daddys car.
