DO NOT USE THIS RENTAL. The owner made a verbal agreement to rent the property, asked for a deposit. Once the check was sent he backed out, said he had someone else confirm first and would return our check for the $500.00 deposit. He never returned our check, nor would he respond to phone calls or e mail. Had to place a stop payment on the check. He's a BUM.

I hope you have read the other reports about Tupper Lake. Previously, I requested someone give us a backstory on the dump for our reading enjoyment, but no one obliged. Can you help? Give us some explanation about this place. I can only imagine that you backed out of the deal in this report because someone showed up with cash in hand and made your eyes bug, thinking about all the seedy things you could do with that cash. Tell us more, Harry!

This person made a reservation over the phone and was told that the reservation would be held for 5 days while I waited for her check, which did not show up for almost 3 weeks, after the 5 days someone else made a reservation and paid the deposit. When Patti's check showed up I notified her that it was no longer available and returned her check. I'm not sure why she never received it and I am sorry she had an unpleasant experience. But bottom line, I can't just hold a reservation indefinetly without a deposit. Thank you, Harry
