Complaint Review: Harry Lane Kia

We purchased a 2005 Kia Sedona LX minivan directly off the show room floor in April 2006, every month after that it has been in for something breaking.

The major problems of this vehicle is shaking uncontrollably when you drive it, the brakes, rotors, engine mounts, and transmission. I would call those major wouldn't you?! The tires have been replaced, rotated and balanced by Harry Lane, endlessly. Also with the brakes and the rotors are always being replaced or resurfaced by Harry Lane. The transmission they can't find anything wrong with it, it is just acting like itself, it shifts only when you lift your foot off the gas pedal. The battery has died, doors won't open, windows quick working, lights quit, radio quits, turn signals, inside lights, rear window wiper, heater, vents, struts, engine mounts, you can't believe the things that break on this car, over and over.

We decided to buy brakes, rotors and tires else where to see if we could fix the problem. It didn't fix the problem, within a week it all started again, now Harry Lane won't work on those because they didn't install them and are saying all these problems were caused by me going else where! I filed a report with the BBB Auto Lemon Law - talked about another rip off. We have the meeting, drive the car, the report comes back that they can't help us because we bought tires, brakes and rotors elsewhere.

Well it has a new list of problems and suddenly they can't fix it. The airbags quit working this week, the engine sounds like it has a rod knocking somewhere, front end still wobbles, engine mounts still bad, turn signal not working, interior lights not working. When will the list quit, I tried to trade this van off at HARRY LANE they won't make me a deal because the car is such a piece of crap - this I was told by the car salesperson! He told me I shouldn't have bought it in the first place!! I want everyone to know, Harry Lane does not stand behind what he sells - they sell it and then it is your problem not theirs!

I TELL EVERYONE NEVER TO DO BUSINESS AT HARRY LANE. I HAVE SEEN OTHER ANGRY CUSTOMERS OF HARRY LANE, DRIVING CARS WITH LEMON STICKERS ON THEM.

I am warning consumers do not buy anything at Harry Lane of Knoxville TN.
