I am a senior citizen and a disabled man. This company assured me that this van was well kept by their shop  and ran well. I was told of all of the repairs that had been done on it. I paid the last money I had, $700.00. I had to search and save to get that. I showed up at the business in my Chaplains uniform, with a Walking Cane, A service dog, and a Care Giver. I told them the financial and health condition I was in. The van ran about a month and the engine blew. I took the auto back to the company since they said they would try to help me. They have the auto and the money. They now want more money to fix it and do not seem to care what position I am in. I need the cash back so I can find a way to transport myself to doctors and food store.

I spoke with Chuck Belknap owner of machine shop and co owner of Hart Road Automotive. Chuck promised me that he would sell the van for parts and pay me the money taken in. He did not. First he sold me a van and told me it was good running and was kept up at his shop. The engine blew at about one month after purchase. Then he told me to return it so he could check it out. He asked for the title back so he could resell it for parts. He got rid of it and did not pay me. I am a retired senior Chaplain and disabled.

I first showed up at Hart Road Automotive with a service dog and a care giver.  Chuck has stollen $700.00 plus tow charges and a whole lot of emotional upset over this incident!

The Hart Road Auto has agreed to work out a reasonable agreement with consumer. It was a missunderstanding and will be straitened out in an agreeable maner. Both parties has talked over the deal and see the other parties side. Terry D.
