My husband went to Harvard Professional Group after 2 months without a job. They made him take a bunch of personality tests when he is already well established in his field, not a high school student.

We paid them almost 6000 to find him a job. They made us believe they had contacts in businesses. They do not. They have a list of CEO's names, and old ones at that. They made him a resume and 50 letters to mail. We had understood when we paid that he had three openings that he was going to email and he knew the contact. We never heard anything more of that. After mailing the letters we got 4 replies out of 50. Most stated that they had been forwarded to the HR department where they should have gone in the first place. What CEO reads resumes?

After 2 weeks with HPG my husband was hired with a company that he found on his own. We asked for a portion of our money back since we are too far away to go for their post-job finding services. We asked for all but 1000 back since they did create a resume and mailed a few letters. We thought we were being very reasonable but they refused completely. We would like to take them to court, but a lawyer says that fees would run almost as much as we might get back and we don't have the money to take a chance.

We just wanted to warn anyone else who might have signed up with them. I guess you have three days to get your money back.

Hi Rebecca
Would you be so kind and let us know the process and tactics in how you were able to settle with Harvard Professional? Many people have experienced the same and would like their money back. Your suggestions would be able to assist all of us.

Would you also be able to open another complaint so your suggestions can appear recent and many will be able to take advantage of them.

Thank you in advance
