This breeder has a history of not returning calls, insisting on picking your puppy and then when you find out the dog has temperament issues blaming you and threatening to sue you if you complain. I actually had someone tell me only way to get help was to show up and just stay until you got satisfaction. That is ridiculous. I have since experienced a breeder who CARES and one who breeds healthy dogs with incredible dispositions. That fact that she has many successes does not excuse her lack of concern for those dogs that are problems. No refund, no adjustment and insistance that you buy food, services and other things you don't need to inflate her bottom line. Totally unfair. Please do yourself a favor and ask a lot of fellow customers before buying a dog and avoid Haus Juris and Megan Judge like the plague.

I stand by my original review. This is my personal experience with Haus Juris. It has also been the experience of five others who have reviewed on this website. I am shocked and appalled that someone would call me a liar because their experience has been different. I am glad for your experience was positive. However, that doesn't give you the right to call others who have not had such an experience a liar. Obviously you are one of Megan's plants as are several other rebuttals on this site and they are not only obvious, but make it clear that someone at that business is recruiting people to try and intimidate and demolish the reviews of others. Shame on you for thinking your experience qualifies you to call others names. The old saying is birds of a feather flock together. Looks like nasty people stick together.

As the owner of two Haus Juris dogs, Axel and Ivy, and having the peasure of dealing with Megan you couldn't be farther from the truth. Megan breeds quality dogs that have great temperaments, are esily trained and are drop dead gorgeous. I could go on but if you are considering a German Shepherd go to Facebook and type in Haus Juris. You'll find close to 50 HJ dog owners and all of us have great dogs and a great relationship with Haus Juris German Shepherds and Megan Judge

This complaint is a complete and utter lie. I have two Haus Juris dogs and everything in this complaint couldn't be farther from the truth. One thing is partially true and that is the owner doesn't answer the phone every time you call but she always calls me and all of the other people I know that have her dogs. As for her dogs temperament that is a flat out lie. My 2 1/2 year old male and 1 1/2 year old female have great temperaments. The part about she picks the puppy for you? I got my male at 8 weeks and Megan, the breeder/owner, brought out 3 pups for me to choose from. My wife and I played with them and made our pick. I question whether the person complaining really has a Haus Juris dog or is just full of whooey. Haus Juris breeds great quality German Shepherds and if you don't believe me go to Facebook and see how many dogs have Haus Juris in their name.

We have purchased 2 male GSDs from Haus Juris, and could not be more delighted with both our boys! Right from the beginning, breeder and owner Megan Judge showed us her comprehensive understanding, total professionalism, and genuine concern for all her pups by talking extensively with us to ascertain exactly what kind of dog we wanted to integrate into our lives.
She knocked it out of the park both times, picking out lovable, intelligent and happy pups from each litter which provided us exactly the kind of K9 we were looking for! Each one immediately stole our hearts and became a beloved family member. One size does not fit all, and since each puppy possesses different traits, energy and drive, Megan’s expertise created perfect match ups both times.
In addition, her full service kennel provides all the ancillary needs such as training, food, treats, boarding (which we have taken advantage of numerous times), and other necessary equipment, and her recommendations for these items were absolutely provided to ensure the continued welfare of her pups, and not for her revenue.
Additionally, Megan is always available for follow on questions, concerns and emotional support, so there is a lifetime partnership with Haus Juris when you have one of their offspring ... we are going on 14 years now!
Our GSDs have brought so much love and joy into our household, and we have continually expressed our gratitude to Megan over the years for her incredible knowledge of this breed….we would never consider purchasing another German Shepherd from anyone but Haus Juris….we are lifetime customers! You are awesome, Megan!
