Ordered riding mower parts using part numbers from my owners manual. The parts I ordered were not what was supplied. Parts clerk said that he ordered the numbers I gave him amd hung up when I burst into laughter at that statement.

He ordered two parts that I did not order. I asked to return the parts and was told there is no parts return or I would have to speak to the owner. Spoke to ownere John Hayes over a 2-3 week period in which he stated he would check into it and never did anything.

I offered to pay restocking fee, cost to return to mower manufacturer, etc. Reponse from Hayes, "If thats the parts you ordered, ain't gonna be no return".

Gave up and contacted Mower Manufacturer who contacted their distributer who contacted Hayes and then asked for my side of the story. The distributer then said that Hayes is totally refusing to help me in any way. The distributer later sent me the parts I needed at no charge.

I would never do business with a business that has absolutely no interest in customer service or satisfaction. Hayes Equipment has wonderful products but could care less about you the customer. You are wrong and they are always right...
