Questonal Practices by management.  The company is still a small firm and privately owned however the owners are completely unaware of how the company is run, I am guessing the owners only care about the bottom dollar since it is a very profitable business.  This is a company where "under cover boss" would uncover an extreme case of non-union personnel abuse and improper / inapropriate manufacturing practices.  Non union personnel continually get abused due the lack of legal representation by HR. This is a case were Scott Mount does not know what is going on below his titled positon or does not care as long as his bottom line numbers are met; David Nichols, Joe Allbarran, and Joe Mcdonnell abuse their employees both privately and publicly by yelling, screaming, threatening to fire, and other strong arm statics. HR does nothing to assist non union employees since Scott Mount has a saying " top management protects and backs-up top management"; Scott Mound protects David Nichols, Joe Allbarran, and Joe Mcdonnell from any complaints or the abvious screw up on their parts allowing blame to be placed on lesser ranked prosonnel! If the same problems plaguing Hayward Labs has been going on for such a long time (years) it seems that Scott Mound really does not have a handle on things because the same problems have remained constant for years (it really should not take a genious to figure that one out). The list of people that have been hired and fired  is truely amazing; something that labor laws / agencies should get wind of and bring action against. Again HR has no back bone or representation! It does not matter what skills you bring, how experienced you are, or what improvements you make to the company if you for some reason are not personally liked by David Nichols or Joe Allbarran or Joe Mcdonnell they will try and mostly succeed in firing you (this has been repeated many times)!!!  The owners of this company (ETBrowne) really need to take notice before a lawsuite is brought against them or better yet a class-action lawsuite to repay all those that have been wronged / Bullied / intimidated to the point of loosing their jobs at Hayward labs.  Beware if you are a professional looking to work for this company due to its very well known reputation in the local community for their hiring and firing practices.
