HCA Power Monthly "Auto" Shipment that was not ordered/requested. Chandler Arizona
When I arrived at home on 5/7 I found yet another bottle of the liquid HCA Power. I immediately called and reached a lady by the name of Lauren and/or Laurel.
I explained that I had not signed up for or requested a 4th bottle and she asked for the order number. I told her that I had not opened the packaging as I wanted to return it. She said that she could not help me unless she had the order number. I aksed if I could return it once it as opened and she said she could not answer that w/o th order number. My response was "I really do not want to report your company". She told me to open the package and call back and promplty hung up on me.
I called back and got a gentleman by the name of Joe. I explained to him my quandry and told him that the first rep needed to learn some C/S manners as she had hung up on me. He took my zip code and advised that I had been set up on a monthly, auto ship back in March. I told him that I had not initiated this and asked if there were transcripts for the 2 calls/contacts that were made. He advised, no but that he had cancelled my account and that I would not get any further shipments. I asked if the $ 49.95 would be reversed from my account and he said "no" as I had the shipment.
I replied by saying "why should I keep a product that doesn't work"? He replied by saying that it does work and that I need to try taking it 2 - 3 times a day.
At that point we ended our conversation. I want the last $49.95 credited back to my account and I will call this disaster, even.
Should I report this to the Better Business Bureau to see what/if there is anything they can do? It appears that they are obviously scam artists and just want to get as much money as possible from their victims.
