Complaint Review: HCG extreme diet

I went online July 29, 2011 and ordered the trial product of HCG extreme for weight loss.  I was told that I would only be charged shipping and handling of $4.95.  The company would not accept my Discover Card, so I used my Chase debit card.  I was billed $89.95.  The product never arrived, so on August 12, 2011 when I noticed that my Mastercard/"Debit card was charged $89.95, I called 877-475-7497 and was told that there was an error on that week's shipping order. I called again Aug 22 because no product had arrived yet. 

I waited, but once again called the company on September 28 to complain and was told that since my product was never shipped I would be be refunded $44.97 and that my future billings would stay at this reduced rate.  I still never received the product, but was refunded half of the charged amount on September 28 through my debit card via Trina Newman. 

Product never arrived so I called again on November 14, 2011 and spoke to Dennis who told me I would be refunded within 3 to  business days.

Still no refund or product, so on November 23 I called again and spoke with Christian who told me that the company no longer could refund the debit master card directly, so he wold report it all to the corporate office who would issue me a check for $49.93 to cover the balance due me as well as the shipping and handling, since I never received any product.  Christian told me that the refund could take up to 30 days. 
So since I never got the refund check and 30 days elapsed, I called the company the past 3 days (December 27,28,29) at the 1-800-970-1682 customer service number only to hear a recording that the office is closed and that the regular operating hours are 9 to 6 Eastern Standard time.  I was calling during those hours.
 
December 28, I emailed Trina Newman since she was the one who originally refunded me half, but I got no response to my email.
 
Then in the newspaper today I saw a warning about the product, and then went online to find out that the government is now involved.  Then I found this site to report fraud, and read another person's letter that sounded like my story, so I decided to file a complaint and hopefully get my money refunded someday.

During the phone calls I made numerous times to cancel the order and be refunded, I was always told to be patient because once the product arrived I would be so delighted with the results!!!

What a ripoff!!!
